AVN Solutions was founded by Vincent
Ng, an SCM Practitioner and Consultant with more than 20 years experience in
automation, industrial engineering, supply chain management,
operations management as well as enterprise-wide ERP and SCM implementation.
Together
with a network of experienced SCM Consultants and
Practitioners, we assist our customers to transform their supply chain
into Adaptive Value Network, using enabling
technologies and solutions like ERP, APS, EAI, RF Barcoding, RFID etc
and Best Practices in logistics operation management and supply chain optimization.
In July 2004, we successfully
delivered RF Barcoding Solutions for the MTU Asia Regional Distribution
Centre in Singapore
using WebSAPConsole, SAP J2EE Engine 6.20
with Pocket PC and Window CE based devices. This was the first
WebSAPConsole live site in South East Asia, Japan, Korea, China,
Taiwan, India, Australia
and New Zealand.
The improvement in the warehouse operation achieved in the MTU
Asia project includes process time reduction in putaway, picking,
packing and stock check, elimination of paper filling and procurement.
In
March 2005, we
assisted Siemens Business Services in the successful implementation of
SAP Warehouse Management with RF Barcoding Solutions for Avnet Asia
Regional Distribution Centre in Singapore using WebSAPConsole,
SAP J2EE Engine 6.20 with Pocket PC and Window CE based
devices.
Our
most recent success is the successful implementation of 78
interfaces with SAP ERP 6.0 and SAP GTS 7.0 for MTU Detroit Diesel, Inc
using SAP Netweaver XI 3.0 and PI 7.1. The scenario includes Vendor
EDI in ANSI X.12, Customer EDI in ANSI X.12, Test Bench, Pricing Management Applications, In-house
Developed Engine Configurator, Material
Master, BOM and ECM and After-Sales External Service Provider.
